- Assist in the effective provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of system hardware and related infrastructure
- Work on cross-functional project teams to develop and evaluate operational concepts and new technology stacks through to implementation and operations
- Administer, manage and enhance our on-prem infrastructure
What will convince us
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar job role
- Completed training as an IT specialist for system integration or equivalent professional training as well as proven relevant professional experience in the required area of responsibility.
- Experience with tasks from the project environment
- Sound know-how in the operation and management of on-prem infrastructures
- Certifications such as VCP/VCAP, preferably also ITIL
- Willingness for occasional business trips to other locations
- Reliability, ability to work in a team and high customer orientation paired with an independent way of working
- Very good communication skills in English
- Ensuring high availability operations, including incident / problem management and troubleshooting (3rd level support)
- Optimization as well as implementation of latest technologies, reporting and monitoring
- Operation of the company-wide virtual infrastructure based on VMware vSphere
- Processing of 3rd level requests and incident reports
- Continuous contribution to performance improvement of the Data Center infrastructure
- Assistance and support in the development and maintenance of technical documentation and user manuals
