    Key Responsibilities:

    • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.
    • Respond in a timely manner to inquiries including quotations via various routes.
    • Route qualified opportunities to the sales managers for further development and closure.
    • Understand customer needs and requirements.
    • Actively utilize Sales Force for relevant sales processes.
    • Maximize customer relationships through timely routine contact with both new and existing customers.
    • Identify market intelligence on competitive activity and communicate to appropriate internal resources in a timely manner.
    • Develop and implement sales plans to meet business goals.
    • Maintain accurate records and information on all customer activities.
    • Perform other job-related duties as requested and works effectively with other team members to ensure the goals and objectives of the organization are met
    • Participate in projects and other initiatives inside and/or outside of the assigned area, team or business group, as needed
    • Manage (key) principals for the Pharmaceutical business in Korea. Implement and execute strategies in order to achieve business and growth objectives, as well as conversion of key projects into sales.
    • Lead all aspects of account management and new business development activities, including strategy development and tactical execution, setting account goals & objectives, and driving efforts to achieve them.
    • Identify key decision makers and develop strong relationship with customers to support retention and translate into new revenue opportunities, programs to retain and grow existing accounts.
    • Ensure profitability of the business by achieving monthly sales targets through direct selling & monitoring performance against targets and by securing business with new & existing customers. Develop organic growth with both existing and new customers.
    • Develop and implement segment-specific sales actions plan for the assigned markets to achieve order, revenue, and margin projections through value-based solution selling. Lead and manage sales strategies formulation and execution for key accounts. Drive customized solutions management and market opportunity pipelines.
    • Act as a primary point of contact between company and key customers. Implement plans aimed at business retention and improve customer satisfaction.
    • Understand and keep track of changing key customer needs and business environments to ensure the most appropriate support is provided to fulfil key customers' needs.
    • Liaise with internal departments to maximize sales opportunities. Provide concise and adequate reporting and information-sharing on a regular basis. Maintain detailed customer profiling database and provide business analysis.
    • Ensure the territory is effectively serviced to achieve sales targets. Build good networking with senior management and decision makers in the Pharmaceutical market.
    • Work closely with the Regional team to develop a product portfolio and fill product gaps

    Requirements:

    • Fluent in English
    • Bachelors degree in chemistry, pharmaceutical or in a related field
    • 5-8 years of overall work experience in Sales and/or Marketing
    • Experience in the distribution of Raw Materials, ideally from pharmaceuticals
    • Experience with Salesforce is an advantage. 
    • Self-motivated and capable of independent working
    • Strong negotiating skills and problems solving ability.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Capable of driving Sales and achieving Sales & Margin targets with  entrepreneurial spirit
