• Perform general cell-culture lab duties such as media buffer preparation, mammalian cell cultures maintenance (CHO cells, iPS/ES cells), autoclaving glassware, etc. • Design and execute small scale experiments for testing and optimizing cell-culture media, including analysis of cell viability, antibody production and metabolites concentrations • Solve experimental problems using analytical thinking gained through formal education and previous roles • Independently operate small-scale bioprocess equipment including AMBR bioreactors, shake flasks, incubators, stirred tank and single use bioreactors (training will be provided) • Understand and interpret experimental data and results to support decisions and understanding of cell culture media formulation and antibody production using CHO cell lines • Communicate (present, write-up in technical documents, etc.) results to colleagues and project team • Function effectively as a core team member
